Abacus Technology is seeking a Logistician to provide acquisition support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Lackland AFB. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
Apply analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of new and improved information systems to meet the business requirements of customer organizations. Perform needs analyses to define opportunities for new or improved business process solutions. Consult with customers to identify and recommending requirements. Recommend overall functional and systems requirements and specifications. Conduct business process reengineering. Conduct feasibility studies and trade-off analyses. Prepare business cases for the application of IT solutions. Recommend systems scope and objectives. Develop cost estimates for new or modified systems. Ensure the integration of all systems components; e.g., procedures, databases, policies, software, and hardware. Plan systems implementation; and/or ensure the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices to the systems analysis process.
Qualifications:
10+ years experience in logistics or acquisitions support including at least 3 years in a DoD environment. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Degree must be in a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Experience with Federal and DOD regulations as they pertain to acquisitions and logistics. Capable of producing and maintaining well-written documentation to meet management and contract requirements. Familiar with the full life cycle of the procurement process.
Must be organized and detail oriented. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization and demonstrate strong customer service skills. Must be a US Citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI).
