The Marketing and Communications Specialist will work with the McGoogan Health Sciences Library to create comprehensive marketing, communications, web development, and events strategies that enhance engagement with library audiences.
Responsible for the conceptualization, independent writing, development, and implementation of a broad range of communications (print, electronic, online, and social media) that remain consistent with and advance the UNMC brand.
This position will require skills in communication, message development, storytelling, communication planning, website development, and event planning and execution.

5. Ability to create and execute comprehensive marketing, communications, web development, and events strategies.
6. Knowledge of quality and innovation in communications, with excellent attention to detail.
7. Ability to prioritize requests and manage multiple deadlines.
8. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
9. Problem-solving skills with the ability to rapidly recognize, analyze, and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
10. Ability to work with a growth mindset and with colleagues to advance the library.
