Automotive Technicians – Urgently Needed!

Are you a highly trained automotive technician who has been affected by the COVID-19 crisis?

Meineke Car Care of Layton is seeking productive Automotive Technicians to become an integral part of our team. This family owned and operated location has retained all staff through the crisis and is currently looking for additional team members to handle increased volume. You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles. Here at Meineke we believe in an incentive based pay structure.

• Those with high productivity and self motivation will be compensated accordingly, the sky’s the limit!
• Offering $25 Flat Rate for a qualified Master Tech.
• Bonus and incentive structure available.
• Terms to be discussed with applicant and are dependent on experience level, tools, attitude, communication skills, team work, and your effort.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair passenger vehicles and trucks.
• Electronic code diagnoses and repair
• Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
• Provide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
• Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments
• Emission inspections of vehicles
• Continuously learn new information and techniques, including implementation of new tools and technology.
• Train & teach new team members as needed
• Contribute to a positive, productive team environment
• Encourage teamwork, positivity, and accountability among all team members

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields
• Two years previous experience for Master Tech
• Two years previous experience for B Level Tech

• ASE Certifications are a plus
• Alignment experience needed – Willing to pay for training
• Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Tools and Transportation
• Team Oriented and Self Managed is a must
