Participates in the planning of labor based on customer activity.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • D irect t he purchase o f s upplies, m a teri a l s , p a ck a gi n g, a nd e quipment in c o n f o rmance with e t hic a l purchasing pr a cti c es.
  • Along with Engineering, sel e cts reli a ble s o u rc es, a p p r ov e pu r ch a se o r d er s , c o ntr o l pri c es a nd participate in supplier Quality issues.
  • C o nt a ct s u p p liers f o r in f o rmati o n o n f a c t o rs aff e c ting prices, a v a il a bility, a nd d eli v ery o f pr o d u c t s. E ns u re s upplier ma n a gement sy stems are in pl a ce to m eet c o mp a ny and T S1 6 94 9 requiremen t s .

  • Ca rries o ut s upe r v is o r y re s p o nsibilities in a cc o r d a n c e with the o r ga ni z a t i o n's p o licies a nd accep t a ble la w s.
  • Monitor and direct CMS use and integrity for MRP, EDI and Inventory.
  • Manage internal and external warehouse space and organization.
  • Organize, train employees, and conduct annual wall to wall physical for facility including reconciliation and accounting audit liaison.
  • Participate in TS and environmental audits as necessary.

  • CPIM and/or CSCP Certifications preferred
