Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Perform overhaul and repairs to hydraulic actuators and other hydraulic components and sub-components.

· Perform testing of landing gear mechanical and hydraulic sub-assemblies.

· Repair detail parts in accordance with approved data and repair schemes.

· Reads and interprets technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.

· Ability to operate various equipment, i.e. hydraulic test stands, media blasters, pneumatic and hydraulic presses etc.

· Able to operate basic, electric, and pneumatic hand tools as required to accomplish job assignment.

· Complete all required maintenance records as stated in the Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals.

· Accurately record time work on each work order.

Education and/or work Experience Requirements:

· High School Graduate or equivalent required.

· Airframe and Powerplant certificate preferred, but not required.

· Must provide own tools

· Willing to work overtime and weekends as required.

· Aircraft Technician experience required, aviation hydraulic experience desired.

· 3-5 years experience in Aviation Industry desired.

· 2 years aviation hydraulic experience desired, but not required.

· Ability to work in a team environment and exercise good judgement in aircraft maintenance, quality, and safety.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

· Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and comply with OSHA standards.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility for extended periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
