South Cove Community Health Center is the premier Asian primary health care provider in the Greater Boston area. We have been providing value-based health care to the Boston Chinatown’s community for over 50 years and have expanded our delivery of care into the cities of Quincy and Malden. We now offer many services including: medical, dental, optometry, obstetrics and gynecology, behavioral health, imaging, and many other services. The Medical Assistant provides medical support for providers as well as general support for other clinical activities such as maintaining equipment and supplies and providing immunization/injections to patients in clinical departments at Boston location. Works as a Practice Medical Team in the coordination of care; planning; quality improvement; and patient/family education and outreach. May be required to cover other Ob/Gyn staff in other locations if needed. Understand basic medical terminology. Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program. Bilingual in Cantonese/Mandarin and English.
