Provides strategic leadership and oversight for facilities & equipment maintenance activities to minimize operational costs, improve reliability, and reduce the un-planned events for production.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage facilities & equipment maintenance departments to maintain, secure, repair, and improve the facility and production equipment while maintaining compliance with federal/state/ local laws, and corporate policies.
• Establishes and maintains the strategic direction for facility and equipment reliability excellence.
• Ensure that all facilities and manufacturing equipment documentation is clear, complete, and correct. Maintain compliance with QSR and ISO regulations.
• Coordinate and work with in-house departments and external vendors for facility & equipment maintenance and improvement projects.
• Supervise and/or schedule building maintenance activities to ensure that all areas are kept clean and in working order.
• Track and report key departmental performance indicators, such as departmental budget compliance, and employee safety.
• Initiate and process personnel actions involving transfers, annual performance reviews, attendance and disciplinary actions.

Expected Areas of Competence

• Systems such as BMS, Building Access, Security Cameras, Alarm Systems, Change Control, SAP, Condition Based Monitoring Budgeting spend accounts and capital appropriations
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams for transformational projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels of employees throughout the company.

Education/Experience Requirements

• Must have a bachelor’s degree preferably in a technical discipline or equivalent experience, Master’s degree is a plus. 6-8 years total experience required, with at least 5 years overall facilities/equipment maintenance supervision experience within a FDA regulated environment (CNC equipment, PLC programming, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems)
