Academe Real Estate & Property Management is looking for a property manager to be responsible for the direct management oversight of residential properties.

Responsibilities

• Establishes rental rate by surveying local rental rates and calculating overhead costs, depreciation, taxes, and profit goals to ensure fair and competitive pricing
• Contract with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting and refunding security deposits to facilitate smooth move-in and move-out processes
• Prepare and sign leases
• Manage all aspects of rental properties
• Schedule and oversee repairs
• Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
• Address tenants concerns or issues in a timely manner
• Maintain records of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints, maintenance, etc.
• Visit sites on a regular basis

Skills

• 2+ years in residentail property management or a similar role
• Understanding property management and its financial aspects
• In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
• Competency in Zip Forms, Propertyware and Google Drive
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Organized with excellent time management skills
• Ability to multitask efficiently
• Customer service oriented
