The location is Allentown, NJ.

The schedule can be as follows:

Sunday- Tuesday (3 – 8-hour shifts) – 11 am – 7 pm shifts

Tuesday – Friday (4- 6-hour shifts) – 2 morning shifts (8am – 2pm) ; 2 evening shifts (4- 10pm)

Wednesday- Saturday ( 4 – 6-hour shifts) – 2 morning shifts (8am – 2pm) ; 2 evening shifts (4- 10pm)

Job Highlights

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides intake and assessments for consumers and families. Collaborates with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized recovery plans and monitor progress toward wellness and recovery. Provides education and consultation on medication and health maintenance. Evaluates levels of service intensity required to ensure continuum of care.

· Performs required intakes, annual and discharge assessments.

· Ensures program commitments are met in terms of assessment, re-assessment and staff compliance; approves Individual Recovery Plans.

· Interfaces with agency staff to gather information on consumer disposition to provide consultation and recommendations for intervention.

· Keeps up to date on changes in regulatory requirements as it relates to delivery of service and educates the team.

· Conducts quarterly audits.

Requirements

· Licensed, Registered Nurse (in good standing) in the State of New Jersey.

· Minimum of five years’ experience as a nurse working with consumers of mental health services, or those with At Risk behaviors.

· Knowledgeable on current psychiatric medications, side effects and interactions.

· First Aid and CPR certified.

COVID-19 Vaccine requirement: Per Executive Order No. 283 signed by Governor Murphy new hires in eligible settings are required to be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19. This includes being up to date with booster, if eligible. This role falls under this executive order and new hires must meet this requirement.
