Schwickert's Tecta America currently has openings for shinglers, siders and carpenters. This position would work with our exteriors group installing materials such as asphalt or metal shingles and various types of siding. They may also work with our architectural metals group installing metal roof and wall panels or roof related edge metal systems. All of which are for waterproofing and aesthetic purposes on residential and commercial buildings.

Successful candidates will be eligible for sign on and referral bonuses.

Experience or skills in carpentry, sheet metal installation or general construction is a plus.

Starting pay will be based upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

• Be able to lift and climb ladders.
• Perform basic math functions and follow written or verbal instructions and safety rules.
• To wear the protective equipment for each job/activity as required.
• Possess a valid driver license.
• Ability to safely work at heights
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Analyze information and evaluate problems
• Attention to details: Inspecting equipment, structures and material - able to identify problems or defects
• Communication: Can clearly provide information to supervisors, co-workers and clients through verbal or written means
• Safely operate vehicles, mechanical devices or equipment
• Can monitor and control use of resources on site
