DieselUSA Group, a Jasper Holdings company, is seeking a full-time Machine Operator for our Service Center in Louisville, Kentucky.This position supports our service department by updating products, using machine shop tools like mechanical end mill, drill press, and other machinery to ensure manufacturing goals are met.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Set up machine to start production cycle
- Control and adjust machine settings
- Pre-inspect product for damage
- Repair housings using end mill and drill press
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
- Check output to identify any machine related mistakes or flaws
- Keeps records of approved and defective units and final products
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Repair threaded holes
- Maintain safe and orderly workshop

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Understand setup of machines
- Basic math, reading and problem solving skills
- Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of measurement tooling and instruments
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
