June Shelton School & Evaluation Center enjoys the distinction of being the world’s largest independent school for bright children with learning differences. Position Overview
The Montessori E-Learning Technology Assistant provides support to the Director of Montessori Training assisting with developing and managing the Montessori online training courses, ensures all Adult Learners information is current and keeps them on track to finish their certification. They also implement ongoing marketing of the training programs on social media.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, communications, marketing, technology, graphic design or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, using appropriate vocabulary, grammar, and language
  • School experience is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with web-based multimedia production is a plus
  • Experience in video and audio editing
  • Technical skills to navigate Learning Management System
  • Knowledge of popular social media platforms and ability to navigate social networks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work as a team member
Essential Functions:
General Responsibilities
  • Attendance and punctuality are essential to the successful performance of this job.
  • Answer telephone calls and retrieve messages from voicemail.
  • Perform word processing as needed, i.e. correspondence, newsletters, and training announcements.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records, documents and reports.
  • Organize meetings, including scheduling, reserving meeting rooms, sending reminders and organizing catering when necessary.
  • Maintain the current database system.
  • Research and track social media trends and provide feedback to the team.
  • Perform administrative support and other duties as requested by the Director of Montessori Training
Technology Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development of the Montessori online training course including video recording.
  • Develop social media advertising and public relations campaigns designed to increase awareness of Montessori online training courses.
  • Track and record inbound web traffic from social posts.
  • Perform videography, help desk and social media management tasks.
Training Course Responsibilities
  • Provide course training information to participants and potential participants.
  • Enter all data into the database or spreadsheet by the deadline set by the Co-Director of Montessori Training.
  • Assist with the coordination and planning of training sessions and other events as needed.
  • Order training supplies and materials as needed.
Other duties as assigned
