Tent Installer
Preferred Party Place has a rich 35 years legacy in Event management and tent installation. We do everything from corporate events to backyard parties, from weddings to graduation, from trade shows to religious events and much more. Preferred Party Place operates from Sicklerville, NJ servicing customers across NJ and PA. We take pride in our service driving repeat business.
Preferred Party Place is looking for tent and stage installers. In this role, you are expected to
- Ensure all products in the order are cleaned and loaded for deliveries
- Ensure all products in the order are received without damages
- Perform special instructions listed in the delivery slip (eg - call 30 mins before delivery, leave products in specified locations, install tent / stage in specified orientation, setup tables / chairs in specified layout etc)
- Check weather conditions before and during installation.
- Complete setup in timely manner
- Be cordial with the customer and avoid confrontation
- Lift weights between 75 lbs to 100 lbs.
- Drive non-cdl commercial trucks 16’ to 26’
- Work both indoor and outdoor in all weather conditions
Qualification :
- 1 year in party rental business
- Experience in setting up 20', 30', 40' wide frame tent and structure tents
- Experience in setting up stages, trade shows, carnivals, and other corporate events
- Clean driving record and experience driving non-cdl trucks up to 26’
- Experience using forklift, scissor lift
- Lift weights 75 lbs to 100 lbs
- Must pass drug screen test
- Able to work flexible hours, weekends and HOLIDAYS
- Eligible to work in USA
