Job Summary/Objective:

The Time and Attendance Systems Specialist will have responsibility for the Time and Attendance administration. The position will act as a liaison between the payroll department, HR, Operations, and IT to configure, audit and document the configuration for the Time and Attendance system. The position has responsibility for the day-to-day support, strategic planning and application configuration including pay rules, work rules, holidays, accruals, interface, testing and deployment within the Time and Attendance system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate system configuration changes, troubleshooting, and system maintenance. Regularly assess current state of services and proactively identify areas of opportunity for improvement.
• Partner with HR & Payroll to facilitate the identification, analysis, and documentation of business needs and requirements; leads the creation of technical specifications, design documentation, and testing strategies for the business requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to play a significant role in helping to plan and manage projects related to new functionality, process improvement and system update release management. Implement system support initiatives and optimization projects, supporting HR, Payroll, IT, and other related stakeholders.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the Time and Attendance system, scheduling, and reporting for all locations across the company, and manage critical activities including system upgrades, user acceptance testing and rollouts.
• Configure time clocks and troubleshoot time clock issues.
• Serves as the contact person to report and follow-up with vendor on problems encountered while using the system.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-7 years of Kronos Configuration/System Admin. Experience with Kronos Workforce Dimensions/ (and/or ADP Workforce Manager) is preferred. Experience should include system upgrades.
• Must have Accruals configuration experience.
• Attendance and Leave module analysis and configuration experience preferred.
• Must have strong experience with Workflow Notifications, Alerts, and Custom Genies
• InTouch clock configuration and troubleshooting preferred.
• This role requires expertise of Kronos (and/or ADP) suite of products and hence the requirement for excellent consultative skills to interact with business users and client management.
• Knowledge of the full life cycle of a project including gathering detailed requirements, being able to develop a design and then building of the design to deliver the solution.
• Highly motivated, results-driven self-starter with good organizational skills, keen focus on detail.
• Flexibility to work extended hours as required to meet deadlines.
