Tire Rack is looking for a hardworking, team oriented Tire Technician to join our Santa Fe Springs, CA team! Our Warehouse Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties such as mounting and balancing, receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing, organizing and retrieving stock.

Responsibilities

As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for several important aspects of our everyday business.

Inbound activities may include:

• Unloading incoming merchandise from trailers
• Verifying and receiving merchandise into inventory
• Palletizing and shrink-wrapping merchandise
• Repeatedly lifting up to 80 pounds
• Clear dock using electric pallet jack

Outbound activities may include:

• Mounting wheels ranging from 13" - 24"
• Balancing tires up to 38"
• Pairing tires, wheels and accessories to fulfil orders
• Safely operate a stand-up stock picker in narrow aisles to pick product by order and deliver to appropriate area
• Cleaning and packaging wheels for shipping

Requirements

• Previous tire installation or warehouse experience - preferred
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work overtime when needed
• May require standing up to 10 hours
• May require bending, stooping, lifting throughout an entire work day
• Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 80 pounds, using proper lifting techniques
• Working conditions will be typical of a warehouse environment
• Flexibility and willingness to work outside of the typical schedule are requirements of the position.
