MTM Staffing, brought to you by Southcoast Physician’s Group, is now hiring experienced Registered Nurses for our in-house travel team!
- 13 Week Assignment, with option to extend for 1 additional 13 week assignment if available
- $80/hr;
- Health Insurance and 403B retirement plan eligible
Position Assignment Details:
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Shifts: 4-10hr shifts variable start times. Weeknight, weekend and holiday call rotation.
Area Assignment: Ambulatory Surgery Unit (ASU) - St. Luke's Hosptial, New Bedford, MA
- During assignment, may be asked to float to any Southcoast Hospital: Charlton Memorial—Fall River, St. Luke’s—New Bedford and Tobey-Wareham
Requirements:
- Current Southcoast Health System employees are not eligible for consideration. Former employees must be separated from Southcoast for at least 9 months to be eligible.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
- Must have a minimum of one year of ASU/Periop nursing experience to work in the specialty area.
- Competent in reading and interpreting basic telemetry strips.
- ACLS required as appropriate (required for intensive or progressive care).
- Ability to efficiently float to other like-units for patient assignments is required.
- Working knowledge and experience with PC-based applications.
- Epic experience is preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus and provide required vaccination documentation unless approved for an exemption or deferral by Southcoast prior to starting employment.
