We are a busy 3 doctor small animal practice in beautiful Laguna Niguel, CA offering a high level of personalized patient care. We are hiring an experienced RVT or Veterinary Assistant II for our treatment team. You must be competent in restraint, drawing blood, administering injections, running in-house lab equipment, dental cleanings, monitoring anesthesia, assisting in surgery and procedures. Experience with Cornerstone computer system is a huge plus. 4/10hr shifts per week. Must be available to work on Saturdays. Pre-employment background check and drug screening is required for any applicant that is presented with a conditional employment offer.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• teeth cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)
• monitoring anesthesia: 1 year (Preferred)
• assisting surgery: 1 year (Preferred)
• running labwork: 1 year (Preferred)
• Veterinary experience: 2 years (Required)
• giving injections: 1 year (Required)
• drawing blood: 1 year (Required)
• Taking X-rays: 1 year (Required)

Language:

• English clearly and fluently (Required)
