Shift Requirements
2nd ShiftABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This position is responsible for the timely movement of materials by operating a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the facility.
- Load and unload incoming/outgoing trailers
- Clean, label and repair plastic totes and bins
- Secure movement, stack, and load all custom containers
- Put away and picking of parts
- Accurate completion of paperwork documenting shipment details or picking/sequence
- Ensure all efforts meet the quality requirements of the customer
- Complete inventory counts to support cycle counting or physical inventory efforts
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
None
High School Diploma or Equivalent
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years of related experience in distribution, container management, consolidations, manufacturing and/or shipping/receiving
- Solid work history in a distribution, manufacturing and/or shipping/receiving environment
- Ability to operate forklift (must maintain Company approved Forklift Operator’s License)
- Mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Ability to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to able to lift and/or move up to 55 lbs.
