PART-TIME KENNEL ASSISTANT -WEEKEND NIGHTS

HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Happy Tails Learning Center for Dogs is hiring a Part-Time Kennel Assistant to work our short late night shift that starts between 7:30-9PM (you choose when to start) and you're typically done in 1-2 hours. Since it is a short shift (1-2 hours), the ideal candidate will live close to our center (we are located in Shelby Twp near 23 Mile Rd and Mound).

WE ARE LOOKING TO FILL THE FOLLOWING SHIFTS:

• Friday, Saturday & Sunday nights
• Start time between 7:30-9pm (your choice when to begin)
• Shifts average 1-2 hours
• Each shift pays $45

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will be responsible for coming in on their respective scheduled nights to do some light cleaning and then take each dog out for a final potty for the day. Sometimes there are some accidents that need to be cleaned up. We're looking for someone to come in sometime between 7:30pm and 9pm (flexible) and you'll be there approximately 1-2 hours.

PREREQUISITES:

You must be willing and able to work with dogs of all temperaments and sizes. The position can be very physical so you must be physically capable of performing the handling responsibilities. YOU NEED TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND BE RELIABLE! Candidate must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation and have a strong work-ethic. Prior kennel experience is a plus!

COMPENSATION:

• $15/hour (each shift automatically pays 3 hours so $45 per shift)
