Summary

We’re hiring a part-time maintenance worker for the weekend shift.

Our maintenance workers are responsible for maintaining the property grounds and public areas in a manner which will ensure guests a clean, attractive and secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Completes routine ground maintenance such as, cleaning parking lot, walkways, stairways, elevators, lobbies, public restrooms, pool and storage rooms, washes windows, replaces light bulbs, empties trash cans, collects dirty linens and stocks the storage rooms.
• Performs assigned tasks such as fixing plumbing problems, moving equipment, assisting with maintenance projects, changing A/C filters, and training other employees.
• Performs general yard work and cleaning.
• Performs touch up and trim painting.
• Responsible for general repair and maintenance of refrigeration units as applicable to coolers, freezers or ice machines.
• May occasionally be involved with pool equipment.
• Locates and corrects HVAC malfunctions and adjusts HVAC units to include systems and control checks.
• Makes systematic checks of electrical appliances and circuits. Informs management of needed replacements.
• Repairs, removes and/or replaces bathroom tile, paint, wallboard, wall vinyl, carpentry, etc.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools as required for general maintenance.
• Regularly travels to pick-up parts between locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Maintain a valid driver’s license
• General knowledge of basic tools utilized in building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry; custodial equipment; lawn care; proper safety techniques and procedures.
• Must be able to work independently and stay focused without supervision.
• This is largely a physical role; however, some sitting is required. Must have the ability to frequently grasp, grip, pull, push, twist, turn and lift an average of 35-50 pounds.
