The Full Charge Bookkeeper position Robert Half is currently filling could be a good fit for you. The Full Charge Bookkeeper position is an opportunity in the Monmouth County area. You will succeed in this position if you're confident you can establish and maintain the organization's general accounting and bookkeeping functions, including the preparation of financial statements.Your responsibilities
- Preparing the trial balance and financial statements, including balance sheet and statements regarding income and cash flows
- Performing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including collections
- Performing reconciliations for bank and general ledgers, as well as payroll processing
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Adeptness in payroll for under 50 employees
- Financial statement preparation experience
- Experience with bank reconciliations
- Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Cash management experience desired
- 2+ years of relevant experience in bookkeeping
- Proficiency with Excel is required and Peachtree is a plus, but not required
