The City of Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department is seeking qualified, positive and energetic applications for full-time Maintenance Worker positions to work within the Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department. There are positions open in the Shawnee Park Sports Complex Division.

Currently seeking qualified applicants to perform maintenance for the above listed divisions. Duties will include building maintenance, athletic field maintenance, mowing, trimming, other general grounds maintenance, event supervision, set-ups, tear-downs and some part-time staff supervision. Applicant should have 2 years of applicable experience working in a maintenance/industrial setting. Must be available to work weekends, evenings, late nights, early mornings and holidays. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, lift a minimum of 75 lbs, reach above, stoop, bend, and climb a ladder a minimum of 15 ft. Preference may be given to a high school graduate or equivalent.
