Medication Technician: 12 hour shifts

This job serves as a co team captain and manages a team as well as the schedule.

• Administer and document regularly prescribed medications to residents in accordance with the Resident Care Plan
• Order medication from the pharmacy when necessary and/or by the request of the Director of Health and Wellness
• Monitor orders to ensure on time delivery keeping Director of Health and Wellness updated within 12 hours of delivery
• Manage schedule and staffing with co manager to assure compliance
• Make sure daily tasks are being completed by holding huddles and assigning.
• Helping staff with training and support

Medication Technician Qualifications:

• Medication Technician experience
• Scheduling experience a plus
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of one-year prior experience
• Ability to work under pressure and relate well to residents
• CPR certification a plus
