POSITION SUMMARY:

The Organizational Development Specialist will work closely with Learning and Development, Human Resources and with department leaders, this position will support the design, implementation, facilitation, and coordination of strategic leadership development, professional development, and talent management/organizational design initiatives.

Salary Range for this position is $90,593.36 - $105,914.12/with a progressive benefit package.




Responsibilities


Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include, but are not limited to those listed, and are subject to change:

  • Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in carrying out GreenState's mission and vision.
  • Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times.
  • Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
  • Ensures confidentiality of member and employee information.
  • Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Serves as a consultative partner to diagnose situations, provide insight, facilitate discussions and develop comprehensive learning solutions to leadership and talent related challenges.
  • Supports the implementation of talent review, succession planning, and high potential development processes, especially as it relates to diverse talent.
  • Provides instructional design and facilitation for professional and leadership development content that can be addressed internally by using existing programs or through the development of innovative programs.
  • Determines ways to continuously engage employees and leaders in having effective performance conversations that drive growth and development.
  • Leverages non training time to develop learning strategies and determine future course needs and enhancements.
  • Builds long term partnerships with external vendors to source leadership, development and related program tools.
  • Partners with Learning and Development team members to seek, grow, and promote learning technology that supports both functional training and career development.
  • Administers and debriefs assessments for employees and leaders (e.g., Predictive Index, 360s).
  • Identifies required course enhancements and changes to meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or credit union sponsored events, on an annual basis.




Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or related field of study or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in implementing professional and leadership development programs.
  • Experience in designing, developing, and implementing instructor led, virtual, online and blended learning courses.
  • Experience with leading team effectiveness, leader/team incorporation, change management and career coaching initiatives.
  • Experience in curriculum design and development, and instructional design.
  • Knowledge of learning theories and principles including adult learning theory.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience working with LMS (Learning Management Systems), and authoring tools is a plus.
  • Ability to organize and accomplish objectives independently and within a team.
  • Support diverse and inclusive work environment.



Reporting Relationship
This position reports to the Vice President/Learning and Development.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is not responsible for supervision of employees.
