JOB TITLE: PAYROLL/AP CLERK

Cedar Grove RTC, located in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, is a 45-bed CARF-accredited facility that treats young men, ages 11-17, who are struggling with Sexual/or mental health issues. As a Payroll/AP Clerk you will have the opportunity to contribute to the effective running of the business office through timely accounts payable and payroll operations.

JOB SUMMARY

Obtains financial data for use in maintaining Accounts Payable records and support the Payroll Department and provides support to the Accounting Department by performing the following duties while maintaining strict confidentiality.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong computer skills required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

_____1.Maintains/exceeds the standards of Service Excellence by treating everyone as a guest, by demonstrating professionalism and excellence in the position, and by practicing teamwork.

_____2.Maintains financial records and information in a confidential manner, ensuring information disclosed appropriately and only as necessary or directed.

_____3.Back up for intake paperwork. Including face sheets, photo identification and distribution to departments.

_____4.Prepares and coordinates Accounts Payable invoices for payment to the Central Business Office in Nashville.

_____5.Maintains all files for Accounts Payable invoices.

_____6.Maintains and distributes Accrual Log for month end close. Distributes timely to the Manager, Support Staff at month end.

_____7.Enters data and maintains the Purchase Order Log for distribution at month end to Manager, Support Staff, Corporate Cost Accountant and Regional Controller.
