Job description

We are looking for a Lifeguard to supervise young campers in the pool and assist them in learning to swim. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all pool rules are followed and that campers are safe in the pool area. The job duties of a Camp Counselor include monitoring children swimming, helping children put on floatation devices, leading pool games, and assisting campers in learning how to swim. Being reliable, attentive, and able to build good relationships with children are three essential traits of a Lifeguard. If you’re patient, energetic but strict when needed, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Monitor campers swimming to ensure safety
• Plan and lead pool games
• Assist campers with learning to swim
• Help campers feel comfortable around the pool
• Make sure all safety rules are followed

Chatham Music & Arts Day Camp takes place from June 20th-July 28th, M-F.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
