Uccello’s Hospitality Group is a West Michigan staple, locally and family owned, founded on Italian family values. Faro Uccello, Founder of UHG, opened the first Uccello’s Ristorante in 1996. Uccello’s has since grown into six successful locations and in 2016, UHG launched a fast-casual concept, Herb & Fire Pizzeria, which has since added a second location. All eight of the restaurants Uccello’s Hospitality Group operates in the Greater Grand Rapids Area strive to save a seat for everyone at the table.

About The Job

Our Friendly, fast paced location is looking to add to our team!

The Takeout and Delivery Team works to ensure all guests have a delightful UHG dining experience.

We are looking to hire part and full-time team members and have the willingness to work with any availability. No experience needed!

We are looking for individuals who want to join our Uccello’s Family and help us continue our growing success.

General Responsibilities:

• Answering phone calls regarding in house inquiries as well as taking carry out/delivery orders.
• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
• Engage in friendly conversation as you take care of our guests needs
• Package all carry out/delivery orders to ensure 100% accuracy
• Help maintain a safe and sanitary work environment for our team as well as our guests.
• Deliver orders effeciently and safely
• During downtime, help culinary team portion prepped menu items

The successful applicant will:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Must have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
• Must possess a smartphone that includes navigation tools, and possess skills to read a map, and locate addresses within our delivery area.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop or lift to 40 pounds.
• Be able to navigate steps and rough terrain, including multi-level buildings.
• Be able to work in varying weather conditions.
• Be personable, friendly, and outgoing.
