We are seeking a Sales Consultant to join our team at our Austin, Texas showroom. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the home decor, interior design, architectural and construction industries. You will hone your skills in relationship development, technical understanding, and selling high-end goods. We are a growing company with many career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert of our products and services
  • Build a rapport with a wide range of customers, from first-time homeowners to experienced developers.
  • Respond to questions about the technical and visual aspects of our products.
  • Create detailed estimates with proper pricing and ETAs.
  • Provide guidance through the entire purchasing process.
  • Project management.
  • Requirements:
  • Previous experience with interior design, home decor, architecture, education, or sales is preferable, but we are willing to train anyone who is eager to learn.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for building and maintaining relationships and an aptitude for navigating difficult conversations regarding financial concerns or technical issues.
  • Comfortable with learning new systems and processes, both digital and manual.
  • Advanced understating of how things are put together and easy comprehension of technical details and construction.
  • A passion for paperwork, making sure each sales order is complete, accurate, and clear.
  • Emotional intelligence which includes exercising empathy with customers and coworkers, and coping mechanisms for stressful situations.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Experience:

  • Project management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Client Services & Customer Support: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Interior design, home decor, or architecture related: 1 year (Preferred)
  • High-end sales: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Communication skills: 1 year (Preferred)
