Position Summary

This position reports to the Director of Communications. As Media Production Manager, you will be responsible for creating and managing various forms of content to help communicate Purpose Financial’s vision, values and business strategy to various internal audiences. We are looking for an individual with a keen eye for detail, exceptional creativity, and a willingness to always be progressing in their role. You will play a key role within the company’s Communications team, helping to craft compelling videos, imagery, podcasts, and presentations that will be shared across the enterprise. You will work closely with the Director of Communications and Communications Coordinator, as well as cross-functionally with various departments to support projects and campaigns, as well as develop ideas to boost internal communications capabilities. This position also supports the Senior Director of Strategic Alignment and Office of Strategy in any additional projects or duties as directed or required.

Job Responsibility

Video Communications

  • Manage video projects from start to finish, including overseeing all aspects of the filming and post-production/editing.
  • Work with Communications team and other stakeholders to develop scripting/talking points for videos.
  • Work closely with Director of Communications and other leaders during review/approval phase.
  • Develop an effective intake process for video communications requests and manage the project funnel with the support of Director of Communications.

Quarterly Town Halls

  • Play a key role in the audio/visual elements of the Company’s quarterly Town Hall meetings.
  • Assist in the creation of Town Hall presentations (may require working directly with Executive Leadership at times).
  • Support Communications team in the planning and execution of quarterly Town Halls, including set up, livestreaming to the entire company, filming/recording the meeting, tear down, post-event surveys, etc.

Internal Company Podcast

  • Support Communications team through recording and editing of the Company’s podcast series, Purpose Podcast.
  • Edit/clean up final audio and work closely with Director of Communications and other leaders to approve before distribution.

Job Responsibilities Cont.

Executive Presentations

  • Support Director of Communications and/or Executive Leaders in the creation and “beautification” of various presentations, including those for corporate events, leadership meetings, quarterly Town Halls, annual conference, and other occasions.

Company Intranet and Other Internal Communications

  • Support Communications team in the administration of the Company’s intranet.
  • Play a key role in keeping intranet look, feel and brand standards up to date.
  • Support Communications team in upgrading various elements of intranet pages, such as imagery, logos or other content as requested by various departments.
  • Provide support to Communications team and other functions in the creation/generation of fresh and engaging content for digital signage in the corporate office.

Other Duties

Assist the Communications team, SVP of Organizational Improvement, Director of Strategic Alignment and Training, and Central Support departments with other duties as assigned.

Education Required

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Video/Audio Production, Digital Communication, Marketing Communications, Communication/Public Relations or a similar field of study.

Experience Required

This position requires significant experience in video and audio production. Experience with video editing software is required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent) is strongly preferred. Experience with audio recording software or previous experience producing podcasts is preferred.

Knowledge Required

Excellent written and verbal communications skills; adaptability and flexibility to changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products.

Physical Requirements
