The King's Daughters' School is a private, year-round residential boarding school for students with intellectual disabilities and autism located in Columbia, TN. We are seeking a responsible, reliable Residence Coordinator with a heart to serve to lead at our Center for Autism.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism preferred.
• ABA experience preferred.
• Be in good health and free of mental and/or physical limitations which would interfere in dealing appropriately with the client’s handicapping conditions and behavior disorders.
• Clean criminal background (no felony convictions, abuse, assault, neglect convictions).

Residence Coordinator schedule is 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday but may include some hours outside of those times due to program needs.

Essential Duties of a Residence Coordinator include:

• Work with students on their residential goals.
• Plan and implement activities.
• Lead a team of 3-4 people; teach them how to manage behaviors, reinforce goal training, and engage with students.
• Communicate with administrators, teachers, and parents regarding goals, behavior, and activities.
